1) While we usually always find people to love on...... sometimes we don't (there are many reasons why) but don't let that discourage you because there is always next time or anytime you feel moved to do so. It is just the nature of what we do. Just relax and have a good time.
2) Use the buddy system. As it is good to stay together for safety as we never know where our friends are at on their journey.
3) If someone asks for more than one of a item "for a friend" just do it and don't feel taken advantage of because from our experience people on the street do share and look out for each other.
3) Pray! Some of us are more comfortable praying for and connecting with people quickly. We all have different gifts. Don't get frustrated with not praying or praying. Respect peoples gifts they bring to the table. Some would suggest it is good to pray with your eyes open and its okay to pray that way.
4) It's okay to show up with little amounts of gift or no gift. Sometime we need people more than things. We try and get everybody involved in distribution of love offerings.
5) We are all in this together. People need each other. Just a simple conversation and a bottle of water and some socks can really have impact on someones day. Everybody need love!

Well said. I think it is so easy in life to be drive by results to the point where we look for results rather than relationships.
