Sorry this is so late - I meant to post this on Sunday, and just spaced.
It's hard to write about this last event - not that anything bad happened. But it was just the classic Socks and Gloves-type outing - we handed out some backpacks with care packs inside, a bunch of sandwiches and goodies, and a whole lotta bottled water. We got to talk to some people, some of whom we'd seen before, and some of whom were new friends.
Nothing big or dramatic happened, but we got to connect with some people, and hopefully everybody was blessed in some way by it. And that's what it's all about.

Sometimes it's just a matter consistently doing the same good works that aren't the kind of thing you toot your horn about. I think that's half the beauty of SocksAndGloves. :)
