Christmas in the Cold was a time to build relationship with homeless friends, show love, resource people, pray, and quite possibly get a greater glimpse into the meaning of Christmas beyond opening gifts. Thank you to all who helped out with this event, came, or donated. We had a tremendous amount of people show up to mingle and we had a wonderful spread of food, clothing, blankets, and supplies. We appreciate the support from local churches, friends, Facebook friends, local businesses, and folks who came out for the first time to hang with us.
What did you think of the event? Feel free to share your thoughts in a comment below - the good stuff and anything constructive too. If you have any photos or video too, we'd love to post them on our site. We put up a few pictures HERE so far, but we'd love to add more.

We came as guests of my cousin's boyfriend and it was a most amazing experience. I brought my 2 young children with me and it wasn't quite impactful for the younger one, but for my older boy of 8, I think it really helped him understand the next step to his previous philanthropy. His school often does can food collection and jacket collections, but he has never gone further than putting an item into a bin. This really brought it to a new level and I'm glad we had this opportunity. I also met some incredibly nice people that I never would have otherwise met and I also got to sing Christmas carols, although probably not well lol. Thank you again for these events.
Kori- That is great news to hear.
